Chocolate Chip Protein Pancakes

Chocolate pancakes are always a great idea! These pancakes are decadent and chocolaty. With 21 g of proteins, you are sure to reach your daily protein goal. This recipe makes 4 pancakes total and you can always break the serving in half if you are watching calories. Sweet chocolate chips and salty granola add a crunch to this fluffy breakfast.

INGREDIENTS

Pancakes

  • 1/2 c Purely Elizabeth Grain Free Protein Pancake Mix

  • 1 tbsp liquid egg whites

  • 1 tbsp coconut oil (melted)

  • 1 tbsp water

  • 1 tsp chocolate chips

  • 1 scoop chocolate protein powder

  • coconut spray

  • chocolate chips + granola + agave for topping

PREPARATION

  1. Mix all pancake ingredients in a bowl and set aside.

  2. Preheat skillet on stovetop on med-high heat.

  3. Spray skillet with coconut spray.

  4. Once skillet is hot, add 1/4 of mix and let bubble.

  5. Once pancake has bubbled, flip and cook about another 45 seconds.

  6. Repeat until all four pancakes are cooked.

  7. Stack pancakes and top with chocolate chips, granola, and agave. ENJOY!
